Day 01 - Arrival in Colombo – Negombo

When you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, your guide will meet you and take you to Negombo. You can relax on the beach this afternoon or check out the local fishing village. You’ll stay overnight in Negombo.

Day 02 - Negombo – Anuradhapura

Travel to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its sprawling ruins, sacred temples, and ancient stupas. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 03 - Anuradhapura – Jaffna

If you’re heading to Sri Lanka, consider going north to Jaffna. It’s the center of Tamil culture there. Be sure to check out Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil and Jaffna Fort. Plan to stay overnight.

Day 04 - Jaffna Excursion

Take a scenic drive to Point Pedro, Sri Lanka’s northernmost point, and relax at Casuarina Beach. Optional boat trip to Delft Island to see wild ponies and unique landscapes. Overnight in Jaffna.

Day 05 - Jaffna – Trincomalee

Journey to the east coast and visit the iconic Koneswaram Temple perched on a cliff. Spend the evening relaxing on Nilaveli Beach. Overnight in Trincomalee.

Day 06 - Trincomalee

Enjoy a snorkeling trip at Pigeon Island Marine Park, home to colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. Spend the afternoon at leisure on the beach. Overnight in Trincomalee.

Day 07 - Trincomalee – Sigiriya

Depart for Sigiriya, stopping at the Dambulla Cave Temple en route to admire its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 08 - Sigiriya

Explore the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, complete with its classic paintings and lovely gardens built for royalty. If you like, you can also tour a local village or take a jeep to see animals at Minneriya National Park. Your lodging for the night will be in Sigiriya.

Day 09 - Sigiriya – Kandy

Visit a spice garden in Matale, then continue to Kandy to see the Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the evening, enjoy a cultural dance performance. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 10 - Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Travel through scenic tea country, visiting a tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea. Stroll by Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya – Ella - Day 11

Experience the famous train journey to Ella, then visit the Nine Arches Bridge and hike up Little Adam’s Peak. Overnight in Ella.

Day 12 - Ella – Yala

Stop at Ravana Falls before heading to Yala National Park for an afternoon jeep safari in search of leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Overnight in Yala or Tissamaharama.

Day 13 - Yala – Galle – Bentota/Hikkaduwa

Visit the historic Galle Fort before heading to the southern beaches of Bentota or Hikkaduwa for leisure. Overnight in Bentota or Hikkaduwa.

Day 14 - Bentota/Hikkaduwa – Colombo – Departure

Enjoy your final morning on the beach before transferring to Colombo for a short city tour (time permitting) and airport drop-off.
