Let’s head to Kandy! We’ll start with a stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple. It’s full of old Buddha statues and cool paintings. Then, we’ll check out a spice garden in Matale and see how Sri Lanka gets its tasty spices. Once we get to Kandy, we’ll visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It’s a super important religious place here. To finish off the day, we’ll catch a cultural dance show with Kandyan music and costumes.

Enjoy your day in Ella. You can check out local cafes and shops, or just enjoy the mountain views. If you didn’t get to hike Little Adam’s Peak yesterday, this morning is a great time. Travel to Yala National Park, stopping at Ravana Falls for photos and a short walk. Get there in time for an evening jeep safari. You can encounter leopards, elephants, and other animals in the park. It’s a great way to experience Sri Lanka’s wildlife. Stay overnight near the park in a nice lodge or hotel.
Leave Yala and go to Mirissa, a pretty beach town on Sri Lanka’s south coast. You can relax on the beach or swim in the Indian Ocean. Mirissa is a chill place with beaches covered in palm trees, making it a nice change from your safari. Have a calm evening by the sea.
